Alina Dang is an incoming freshman at Duke University where she plans to pursue a pre-medicine path. She shows her strong passion in STEM by serving as her high school’s president of Mu Alpha Theta, secretary of Science Olympiad, and co-founder of Girls Who Code, where she helps hundreds of students explore their passion for STEM. Off-campus, she interns at a cardiologist clinic and is always ready to assist patients and bring a smile to their faces. Alina is also a competitive table tennis player, loves to express her creativity through all mediums of art, and enjoys trying new hobbies.
