Phoenix Wu is the recipient of the Hanan Chan Memorial Scholarship
Phoenix has been a captain of Science Olympiad for the last 2 years and fell in love with learning ever since he began competing in 7th grade. As well as leading the SLHS Science Olympiad team to winning multiple state championships, he also represented Team USA at the 2022 International Chemistry Olympiad. Phoenix plans to major in chemical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He would like to further his studies in academia and research, but is also open to experimenting with different career paths.
